Boston Celtics’ Daniel Theis & Enes Kanter TPE options

Josh Okogie, Edmond Sumner, Chandler Hutchison

Okogie is definitely a bit of a project considering his major struggles shooting the ball. He is a career 27.3% three-point shooter but has proved to be an elite defender for the Timberwolves.

At only 22 years old Okogie has plenty of room to grow. It would give the C’s another perimeter defender to throw at opposing benches.

Sumner proved his worth last season, shooting 39.8% from deep. Despite only playing 16.2 MPG, he still managed to average 7.5 PPG.

If the goal of the offseason is to add shooters around Boston’s core players, Sumner would be a top option. He is only 25 years old and, even though he is already a solid shooter, has plenty of room to grow in that regard.

As for Hutchison, he will most likely end up back in Washington next year. However, if the Wizards would rather build up their draft capital, he would also fit in well off of the Celtics’ bench.

He averaged 5.2 PPG on roughly 40-37-83 shooting splits in his 18 games with the Wizards last year. His hustle defense and ever-improving shooting would help the C’s immediately.
