Boston Celtics’ Gordon Hayward TPE options

Larry Nance Jr., Tomas Satoransky, Juan Hernangomez

Nance is by far the most intriguing of the three candidates listed. He had a fairly successful season last year in Cleveland, and since the team is rebuilding, they could be willing to deal him for young assets.

He averaged 9.3 PPG, 6.7 RPG, and 3.1 APG last year. Nance shot 47.1% from the field and 36.0% from the 3-point line.

Satoransky would certainly help shore up the Celtics’ point guard depth. Not only that but at 6’7” he provides some much-needed height at the guard position.

He averaged 7.7 PPG and 4.7 APG last season while also shooting 51.4% from the field and 35.6% from deep. His size and playmaking would fit in perfectly off the C’s bench.

Lastly, Hernangomez would be the riskiest of these options. He struggled shooting the ball last season (32.7% from deep) but shoots the three at 35.1% for his career.

He averaged 7.2 PPG last season and plays solid defense at the 4. Hernangomez would be a solid stretch four option next to both Tatum and Brown.
