Boston Celtics’ Kemba Walker trade target #3: Myles Turner

Yet another Indiana Pacer who could find himself dealt this offseason, Myles Turner is no stranger to trade rumors…especially ones that involve the Celtics.

Turner was involved in talks for Gordon Hayward Indiana was having with then-GM Danny Ainge last offseason when sign-and-trade talks for the Butler product were heating up.

The trigger was never pulled by Ainge, as was often the case during his tenure, and numerous outlets saw that as a failure on the part of the Cs front office. Given the way the season ended, with the Nets destroying them at the rim, perhaps it’s fair to say it was.

With the Tristan Thompson experiment largely a dud, Stevens needs to move in on a superior option at center than the Kardashian-involved declining former champion. Finally landing Turner would be righting the wrongs of the last offseason, and that would make for a strong start for the new regime.

Turner is and has always been the kind of guy that can rim-run, stretch the floor, and finish spectacularly as a roll man.

Pull the trigger that Danny couldn’t, Brad.
