Boston Celtics: 2 players Cs should pursue in a Kemba Walker deal

Boston Celtics target No. 2) Lonzo Ball
For those of you who follow us, you likely are already aware of our infatuation with the likes of Lonzo Ball, as we try to talk about hypothetical scenarios in which the Boston Celtics could trade for him seemingly every chance we get.
Even at this year’s deadline, we were screaming from the proverbial rooftops for Ainge to make a move for the fourth-year floor general.
Simply put, his game just fits in flawlessly with this current Celtics squad.
A flat-out playmaker, Ball seems to be just as happy dishing out dimes and playing great defense as he does buying buckets.
Tabbed as having the ‘highest basketball IQ’ in the entire league by NBA legend Magic Johnson, the point guard is finding himself in the midst of a career year, posting averages of 14.6 points, 5.8 assists, 4.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and just over half a block on 38 percent shooting from deep.
His desire to push the ball on fast breaks would only stand to benefit the rest of the team’s highly athletic players on offense while his defensive versatility would be a huge plus for the shamrocks overall.
An ideal option at the one both for the now and for the future, pursuing a sign-and-trade involving a Kemba Walker – Lonzo Ball swap should be viewed as the ideal scenario for the Cs to pursue.
