Boston Celtics All-Star target No. 3) Bradley Beal

In this league, star power is seemingly everything and, should the Boston Celtics actually be in line to make a “big move” like publications such as Bleacher Report expect them to, none would likely be bigger than a trade for Bradley Beal.

Now, while this may not be one of the more likely scenarios that could take place at the deadline, for the shooting guard has stated his desire of wanting to stay with the Washington Wizards, based on recent claims of how excited he is to be playing alongside boyhood friend Jayson Tatum on Team Durant perhaps the two stars could wind up convincing each other about how enticing it would be for them to pair up during the regular season as well.

Am I basing any of this on actual information or sources? Not really.

That said, we’ve seen such scenarios take place in the past and, with their relationship dating back to their hometown of St. Louis, the appeal of joining forces could be that much more appealing.

On the year, the 27-year-old is finding himself posting a league leading 32.9 points per game to go along with 5.4 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.4 steals per game on 48 percent shooting from the floor and 34 percent shooting from deep.

Unfortunately, however, his incredible statistical feats are being wasted on the lowly Wizards who, through 34 games played, boast a losing record of 14-20 and find themselves in the 12 seed out in the Eastern Conference.

For around a king’s ransom, perhaps the Boston Celtics could find a way to bring the scoring machine to Beantown to pair with Tatum — and hopefully Brown — to combat the menacing big-3 found in their own conference with the the Brooklyn Nets.

Beal will certainly be a player Celtics fans should monitor closely during this year’s All-Star game.
