Giannis Antetokounmpo

To me, there’s very few things you don’t give up to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo. That may be the situation the Milwaukee Bucks are currently facing, but technically the inverse: there may be nothing they won’t give up to keep him.

Whether that leads to the team exploring upgrading their second star Khris Middleton for a more playoff proven performer is up in the air, but the Bucks may be willing to do anything possible to keep their 2x reigning MVP.

If something changes this offseason, the Boston Celtics should be the first team in line for his services…but only if it Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are left out of trade talks. If those two are supplemented by the league’s most dominant force, there could be dynastic potential in Beantown for the next decade.

I’ve imagined a scenario that would land the “Greek Freak” in Boston, and if it acquiring landing him, the likes of Gordon Hayward, Kemba Walker and even Marcus Smart should be on the table, as well as their first-round draft picks in 2020.

The odds are higher that the Bucks look to keep him before ever thinking about moving him, but keep an eye out for the Cs if Antetokounmpo becomes available.
