Boston Celtics key takeaway No. 2) Jaylen Brown is a franchise talent

Boston Celtics fans know how good Jaylen Brown is. At this point, it’s hard for one to not understand how good he is, as we seemingly talk about it at every chance we get.

Game 5 just continued to prove this highly covered point.

Though the shamrocks started off a bit slow in the game, Brown was the lone energizer bunny early on, as he was the first on his team to accumulate double-digit scoring numbers — finished with 10 points heading into the half.

He would then follow up this solid first-half scoring performance with an even more impressive second half, as he dropped 18 more points on 67 percent shooting from the field and 33 percent shooting from deep, including two clutch back-to-back treys in the final two quarters

Outside of scoring, however, the All-Star-snub managed to log eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, and a box plus-minus rating of +11.

Promoting unbelievable on-ball & help defense, sound initiating skills on the break, and a tenacity to bang with the big dogs down low, Brown proved once again why Celtics fans love him, and why he truly has franchise player-level talent.
