As we inch further towards the resumption of the NBA season, Jaylen Brown continues to prove his worth for the Boston Celtics both as a baller and as an individual.

As the Boston Celtics, as well as the other eligible 21 NBA teams, begin to settle into the Orlando bubble, many players have taken to social media to give people a peek into their new world.

Whether it’s Troy Daniels showing the first meal he was provided, Rajon Rondo unhappily comparing his room to a Motel 6, or a long list of players showing off their gaming setups, there has been no shortage of content coming from the sunshine state so far.

For Jaylen Brown, however, he took to Instagram to show off the prized possession he brought for his (hopefully) long stay down south — a hyperbaric oxygen chamber.

With a compact schedule on the horizon after a three-month layoff, Brown seems to be one step ahead of the competition here. The chamber allows your blood to carry more oxygen, which in turn allows faster recovery and healing of tissues.

While opponents are using their free time streaming video games online, the Boston Celtics’ fourth-year wing will be doing everything he can to stay in shape while the franchise chase their 18th NBA Championship.

This unusual accommodation should not come as a surprise to people since, Brown has been talked about as being ”too smart” for the NBA dating back to his pre-draft interviews in 2016.

It has become clear that Brown is willing to go above and beyond for things he believes in. Back in May, he drove 15 hours from Boston to Atlanta to lead a protest following the tragic death of George Floyd.

To further exhibit the commitment to his team during the NBA-restart, Brown deleted his Instagram account shortly after posting the picture of the chamber, showing his focus is solely on basketball for the time being. It’s hard to believe he is only 23-years-old, as he continues to display the mindset of a seasoned veteran.

As the league slowly but surely creeps towards the resumption of the season, there is one thing that is for sure — Jaylen Brown will be ready for tipoff.
