Boston Celtics advantage No. 2) 3 number-one options

In the image above, there are two number-one offensive talents present in Kemba Walker and Jaylen Brown. What’s great about said image is that it doesn’t even consist of the actual number-one option for the franchise in Jayson Tatum.

That’s how impressive this 2019-20 Boston Celtics squad is.

While it was Tatum and Walker who were selected to the All-Star game this past February, Brown was right on the cusp of making the cut and could easily be seen as a snub from the illustrious exhibition.

With the fact that Tatum, Walker, and Brown all finished averaging 20+ points per game this year, they became the only team to roster such a statistic, which marks just the second time in franchise history when this feat was accomplished — only other time was during the 1966-67 season when they had Sam Jones (22.1 points), John Havlicek (21.4) and Bailey Howell (20.0) all reaching said threshold.

Against Milwaukee, the Heat had to zero in on one person mainly in Giannis Antetokounmpo, and, second on their list, was Khris Middleton. Against Boston, the Heat defense will need to account for three specific players that can drop 20+ points all on the same night.

Good luck!
