Detroit Pistons trade target: Luke Kennard

When it comes to building the roster for the future, the number one guy that Danny Ainge should build around is Jayson Tatum. What better way to appease their franchise cornerstone than bringing in Luke Kennard, his college teammate.

Kennard has fully blossomed into a legitimate starting-caliber player this season. In 32 minutes per game, he has averaged 16 points, four assists, and three rebounds. His shooting splits of 45/40/90 are close to elite.

Detroit would be better off holding onto one of their lone keepers, but the C’s could offer plenty of draft considerations and recently drafted talents to convince the Pistons that their rebuild could go on without Kennard.

Indiana Pacers trade target: Myles Turner

As much as other teams may want to say it, the classic thinking surrounding the Boston Celtics’ supposed frontcourt weaknesses is false. Daniel Theis has become as underrated as any player in the league, and Enes Kanter and Grant Williams have served capably as backups.

That said, plugging Myles Turner into the center position would make the C’s lineup an offensive threat from literally the entire floor. While his shooting is down from last season, the Pacers’ dual center arrangement may be a contributing factor.

If Boston could get him without sacrificing a core member, they’d be instantly elevated. Even if it took Hayward or Brown, they could field the most complete starting five in the entire association.
