In a special interview set up by CloseUp360, Enes Kanter spoke with a local medical professional in Dr. Shuhan He regarding the ongoing global pandemic. Regarding its impact on the city of Boston, the two discussed what the peak may look like for Beantown in relation to other states.
Dr. He gave a bleak outlook on the realities of the situation, reminding us that the outbreak of COVID-19 is deadly enough on its own, but the repercussions–like taking up all the hospital beds–will be directly linked with other ailments like heart attacks and strokes.
Kanter played the role of interviewer in this scenario, rightfully taking a backseat to Dr. He as he informed and educated the public on the well-being of Boston during this unprecedented time period.
As the conversation got lighter, Dr. He revealed he had not seen a Boston Celtics game this season but was able to catch Rajon Rondo‘s buzzer-beater that allowed the Los Angeles Lakers to take down the C’s on their home-court.
Hopefully when the time is right, he can catch a C’s game with a different result, and perhaps Kanter could find himself in the thick of it as well.
