Serge Ibaka

There were rumors of the Celtics looking into a trade for Ibaka during this past deadline. Trade talks apparently dissolved once the Orlando Magic added Terry Rozier to the deal reported Jared Weiss of CelticsBlog. Ibaka would fill needs as both an interior shot blocker and a solid rebounder. This past season he averaged 6.8 rebounds per game and 1.6 blocks per game proving his solid play inside. While this seems like a good fit it most likely will never happen.

Dan Feldman recently reported that the Raptors basically have agreed on a deal already, so the 27 year old power forward will most likely be staying in Toronto. Although, a deal is never done until it’s in writing.
