The Boston Celtics lost to Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday night by a score of 114-91. It was probably the worst performance by the Celtics all season. They struggled to hit open looks and make stops on defense.

Even though Tristan Thompson was out of the game with a thumb sprain, the Celtics lost the rebounding battle 51-38. Boston shot 7-33 from three(21.7%) which is simply not good enough to beat a team like Cleveland.

LeBron James seemingly had his way with the Celtics defense, as he took the ball to the basket every chance he got. He scored 36 points, shooting 64% from the field.

While there are many negatives to take away, I like to look at the bright side in times like these. There are legitimate positives to take from last night’s loss, which make things perfectly okay for the Celtics after Wednesday’s blowout.
