Rajon Rondo's Agent Denies Trade Request Rumor

Rajon Rondo and his agent Bill Duffy have released a statement denying an ESPN report that claimed the point guard had told the Celtics that he wanted out of Boston.

Bill Duffy spoke to Mark Murphy of The Boston Herald to set the record straight that Jackie MacMullan’s comments were false.

A spokeswoman for Duffy’s agency said that both men have discussed the reports, and publicly deny that any such request was made. “Neither Bill nor Rajon know where this has come from, but it didn’t come from them,” Alyson Furch said in a text tonight. “They want this on the record. Neither has spoken to anyone about this.”

The same outcome comes out of all these rumors is that Rajon Rondo is still a Celtic. It’s gone on for the past three years and until Rondo is officially traded or he speaks for himself then Celtics fans who adore Rondo shouldn’t be worried at all. We still have a whole season of these rumors.
