The marquee matchup, at least in the Eastern Conference, Tuesday night goes down at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse as the red-hot Boston Celtics visit the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Boston has won 11 consecutive games and heads to Cleveland as a modest favorite against the shorthanded Cavaliers, who will be without guards Donovan Mitchell and Max Strus. Can Boston extend its impressive winning streak and pull out a road win by a margin or will Cleveland hang tough behind its defense?

Here are some prop bets to consider for the matchup.

Best NBA prop bets for Celtics vs. Cavaliers

  • Jayson Tatum OVER 4.5 assists
  • Boston Celtics 1st half team total UNDER 57.5 points
  • Evan Mobley OVER 25.5 points+rebounds

Jayson Tatum OVER 4.5 assists

Jayson Tatum the passer? While the former first-round pick is top-10 in the NBA in scoring (27.1 points per game), Tatum has been one of the key facilitators for the Celtics over the 11-game winnings streak.

Tatum has eclipsed this number in 10 of the last 11 games. Tatum averaged 6.7 assists per game in February, up from 4.7 in January. If Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis (both questionable) can go on Tuesday night, expect the Celtics to stick with what's worked over the past 11 games and spread the wealth against the Cavaliers' defense.

Boston Celtics 1st half team total UNDER 57.5 points

It's mighty difficult to try and bet against the Boston Celtics' offense right now. Boston has scored 278 points over the last two games and has been great in the first half, eclipsing this number nine times over its 11-game winning streak.

However, Cleveland's defense is equipped to set the tone in this matchup. The Cavaliers are No. 3 in the NBA and No. 1 in the Eastern Conference in first-half scoring defense this season, permitting just 54.3 points per game at home.

Evan Mobley OVER 25.5 points + rebounds

Start with the obvious: Cleveland will have to replace Donovan Mitchell and Max Strus Tuesday night, a duo that combines for over 40 points per night.

With Mitchell sidelined the last two games, Mobley's put up 35 points on 13-of-24 shooting and has gotten to the free-throw line 14 times. Mobley has always been a force rebounding the rock, averaging double-digit boards per game.

Mobley has averaged 34.3 points+rebounds per game over the last three contests. He's hitting his stride offensively and could have a bigger impact on the offensive side of the ball to help the Cavaliers' upset effort.
