According to Boston Celtics PR, Sam Hauser has been upgraded to available for Tuesday night’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers. He was originally listed as probable due to a right wrist sprain. Outside of Jayson Tatum, who is expected to miss the entire season with a ruptured Achilles, the Celtics’ injury report is clear.

Meanwhile, the 76ers have a few players on their injury report heading into the contest as well. Paul George, Johni Broome, and Dominick Barlow are all out for the game, but second-year guard Jared McCain will be available for the third time this season. He tore his meniscus last season and dealt with a torn UCL in his thumb over the summer.

According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Joel Embiid is also out for the game. He will be a relatively late scratch due to right knee soreness.

Boston will be looking to win its second game in a row.

The Celtics just wrapped up a two-game series against the Orlando Magic, going 1-1. After dropping the first game, they bounced back with a win on Sunday night, highlighted by a 25-point first half from Anfernee Simons and clutch defensive performances from Jordan Walsh and Hugo Gonzalez down the stretch.

In addition to Tatum, Xavier Tillman missed the first game of the two due to personal reasons, but he was back with the team and available to play in the second contest, despite not checking in.

Boston is 5-6 on the year, and this will already be their third meeting with the Sixers. The two sides have split their first two games, with the 76ers getting a win on Opening Night, and the Celtics hanging on for a one-point victory in Philadelphia in the NBA Cup.

Tyrese Maxey has been one of the best players in the NBA this season, and VJ Edgecombe torched Boston in the season opener. Now that Embiid is sidelined, Philly will likely employ the fast-paced style that suits that duo more often on Tuesday night.
