At the 0:55 mark in the third quarter of Game 2, Orlando Magic big man Goga Bitadze went up for a rebound, and on the way down, nailed Boston Celtics star Kristaps Porzingis in the head with an elbow. Immediately, Porzingis fell to the ground, and blood started gushing from his head.

A trainer came onto the floor and put a towel over his head, hiding the injury and attempting to stop the bleeding. Porzingis then went back to the locker room to get further assistance as the referees went to the monitors, eventually upgrading the play to a Flagrant 1 foul.

Porzingis then came waltzing out of the tunnel with a bandage over his face, and the TD Garden crowd erupted.

The big man smiled, played to the crowd, and waved his hands in the air. He then shot the two free throws that came with the Flagrant before heading back to the locker room, as there was still visible blood on his head.

Bitadze was apologetic right after the incident occurred, extending his hand to make sure Porzingis was okay and repeatedly apologizing.

Porzingis sank one of the two free throws he took before heading back into the locker room, and the game resumed from there - Boston now down two of its regular starters, as Jayson Tatum was ruled out before the game, too.

The big man seemed to be in good spirits when he reentered the game, as a smile was across his face as he soaked in the cheers of the TD Garden crowd, who fell in love with the fact that he was back out on the court after getting his head cut open.

During last year's NBA Finals, Porzingis quickly became famous for his WWE-style entrances. He has a flair for the big moments, and he made sure to make the most out of this one. TD Garden put him up on the jumbotron, showing the bandage he was sporting across his forehead, and Porzingis loved being the center of attention.

There has been no official update regarding the status of Porzingis or his injury, but Luke Kornet immediately came into the game for him after he went back to the locker room following his two free throws.

With 8:15 to go in the fourth quarter, Porzingis emerged from the tunnel (yet again) and sat back down on the Celtics bench. He pumped his fist as the crowd cheered.

Then, at the 7:15 mark, Porzingis checked back into the game, once again receiving a roaring ovation from Celtics fans in attendance.
