The Boston Celtics earned a win on Monday night over the Sacramento Kings. It was the second night of a back-to-back after they took down the Portland Trail Blazers. The victory in Sacramento marked their sixth in a row, keeping them firmly in second place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns are fighting tooth and nail to get into the Play-In Tournament. They’ve had an extremely rough season, though they have been putting together some solid wins lately, pushing them ahead of the depleted Dallas Mavericks. They still have to fend of the Blazers and San Antonio Spurs, too, however.

Here is the Celtics injury report for their game against the Suns on Wednesday, March 26.

  • Xavier Tillman OUT (left knee joint sprain)

UPDATE: Jayson Tatum is questionable.

Suns injury report vs. Celtics on Wednesday, March 26

  • Bradley Beal OUT (hamstring)

The Celtics don’t have a particularly long injury report heading into Wednesday’s contest, but a very notable player highlights it.

Will Jayson Tatum play in Celtics vs. Suns?

Jayson Tatum sprained his ankle on Monday night in the Celtics’ win over the Kings. Domantas Sabonis closed out too hard on a three-point attempt (which Tatum still drained), and the Celtics star landed on his foot.

Sabonis was called for a Flagrant 1 foul as Tatum went down in a heap. He reentered the game to hit a free throw before exiting the game.

The fact that Tatum is listed as doubtful and not out is a pretty good sign regarding his overall health moving forward.

On top of that, after the Kings game, Ramona Shelburne of ESPN revealed that Tatum was just feeling a bit “sore”:

“Jayson Tatum seems to have escaped serious injury after turning his left ankle landing on Sabonis’ foot while shooting a 3 Monday night, telling ESPN he’s just “sore” but he still needs to be “cautious.” Tatum has previously injured the same ankle.”

UPDATE: Jayson Tatum is questionable.

Xavier Tillman remains out due to a left knee joint sprain.

For the Suns, Bradley Beal is the only player listed on the injury report. He will miss Wednesday’s game against the Celtics due to a hamstring issue.
