The Boston Celtics are five games deep into a seven-game homestand, and they just picked up a huge win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night. Now, they’ll welcome the Utah Jazz to town as the second-to-last game at TD Garden before heading back on the road, and they’re dealing with some ailments.

Meanwhile, the Jazz have been stuck around the bottom of the Western Conference standings for most of the season. They’re smack-dab in the middle of a rebuild and will likely have one of the top picks in this year’s draft. But for the time being, they’re stuck playing a bunch of young and inexperienced guys.

Here is the Celtics injury report for their game against the Jazz on Monday, March 10. (***The Jazz have a game on Sunday, March 9, so their injury designations will be for that game. Stay tuned for updates closer to game time on Monday night.)

Celtics injury report vs. Jazz on Monday, March 10

  • Al Horford QUESTIONABLE (left big toe sprain)
  • Kristaps Porzingis DOUBTFUL (illness)
  • Jayson Tatum QUESTIONABLE (right knee tendinopathy)

Jazz injury report vs. Celtics on Monday, March 10***

  • Jordan Clarkson OUT (left plantar fasciitis)
  • John Collins OUT (low back injury management)
  • Taylor Hendricks OUT (right fibula fracture)
  • Walker Kessler OUT (rest)
  • Lauri Markkanen OUT (low back injury management)
  • Collin Sexton OUT (left ankle injury management)
  • Jaden Springer OUT (lower back soreness)

Fresh off their big win over the Lakers, there are a few players listed on the Celtics’ injury report. Al Horford is on the list after his big night guarding Luka Doncic and LeBron James. His pesky left big toe sprain is back, and he is questionable.

Jayson Tatum is also a new addition to the injury report, as he’s listed as questionable to play due to right knee tendinopathy (likely in an attempt to give him a rest).

Meanwhile, Kristaps Porzingis is still on the injury report with the same illness that has held him out for five straight games at this point.

Utah’s injury reporting is going to be a bit delayed, as they played a game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, meaning all of their listed injuries were for that game.

In total, seven Jazz players were out for their game against the Sixers: Jordan Clarkson, John Collins, Taylor Hendricks, Walker Kessler, Lauri Markkanen, Collin Sexton, and Jaden Springer.

Of those players, Clarkson, Collins, Kessler, Markkanen, and Sexton were all out due to injury management or rest, meaning it seems fairly likely that they could play against the Celtics.
