The Boston Celtics are fresh off a big win over the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden. They gained some extra separation over the Knicks, who are one spot behind them in the Eastern Conference standings. And on Monday night, they’ll get a look at the new-look, post-trade deadline Miami Heat.
On the night before the deadline, the Heat traded Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors, getting back Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson, and a pick in the deal. Dennis Schroder was also shipped out by the Warriors, but he was rerouted to the Detroit Pistons. Now, the Celtics will potentially get the chance to play the Heat with Wiggins for the first time.
