Following their huge 26-point comeback against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night, the Boston Celtics will be back in action on Wednesday for a massive game against the top-of-the-East Cleveland Cavaliers. The two sides have already squared off twice this season, with each squad earning a win.
Now, they will play for the third of four times, and the game has big implications. Cleveland still has a 5.5-game lead on Boston for the one seed in the East, but there’s plenty of time for the Celtics to make a run at it, making these games all the more important.
Here is the Celtics injury report for their game against the Cavaliers on Tuesday, February 4.

Cavaliers injury report vs. Celtics on Tuesday, February 4
- Isaac Okoro OUT (shoulder)
- Dean Wade OUT (knee)
There is nobody on the Celtics’ injury report heading into Tuesday night. Payton Pritchard missed their last game against the Sixers due to an illness but will be back in the lineup against the Cavs.
Outside of that, the Celtics have actually run into a fortunate stretch of injury luck as of late. Kristaps Porzingis has been healthy after missing nearly two months at the start of the season while recovering from offseason surgery.
He’s looking as good as he’s looked all season. On top of that, Jaylen Brown is also looking better after dealing with ailments earlier this year.
Jrue Holiday has also been injured throughout the course of the year, and there’s a chance he’s still dealing with the lingering effects of them, as he hasn’t looked like himself for much of the season.
Meanwhile, the Cavs will be relatively healthy for this game. Isaac Okoro is out, and he’s missed a lot of time this season, so he hasn’t been starting for Cleveland. He’s dealing with a shoulder issue.
As for Dean Wade, he will also be out for Tuesday night’s game. Wade has been diagnosed with a bone bruise in his right knee and will be out for multiple weeks.
