The Boston Celtics were in a rough spot after the first half of their game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night. Milwaukee poured in 69 points, but Boston held them to 38 in the second half, climbing all the way back to earn a 113-107 victory. The victory moved the Celtics to 9-2 on the year.

As for the Atlanta Hawks, they are 3-7 on the season. They’ve lost their last two games, and when they last played the Celtics, they suffered a 30-point loss to a squad without Jaylen Brown. Now, they’ll be heading into their Tuesday night NBA Cup contest without their top star.

Here are the injury reports for the Celtics game against the Hawks on Tuesday, November 12.

Celtics injury report vs. Hawks on Tuesday, November 12

  • Jayson Tatum AVAILABLE (ankle)
  • Al Horford AVAILABLE (toe)
  • Jaden Springer OUT (knee)
  • Kristaps Porzingis OUT (posterior tibialis tendon surgery)

Hawks injury report vs. Celtics on Tuesday, November 12

  • Trae Young OUT (Achilles tendinitis)
  • Bogdan Bogdanovic OUT (hamstring)
  • De’Andre Hunter OUT (personal)
  • Vit Krejci OUT (thigh)
  • Seth Lundy OUT (ankle)

Kristaps Porzingis is still out and likely won’t return until around December as he continues to recover from offseason surgery.

While Brown is no longer on the injury report, Jayson Tatum is a new addition after he injured his ankle last game. Giannis Antetokounmpo stepped under him on a jump shot, and Tatum twisted his ankle.

No Flagrant foul was called, and Tatum and head coach Joe Mazzulla were understandably upset. Tatum finished the game against Milwaukee, and he was listed as questionable before being made available.

Al Horford was questionable due to a toe sprain, but it’s likely just the Celtics’ way of having him sit out one night of a back-to-back as Boston plays the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. Horford was made available for the game against the Hawks, meaning he'll almost certainly be out against the Nets on Wednesday.

Jaden Springer missed last game against the Bucks, and he is still questionable heading into this game with left knee tendinopathy.

Most notably, Trae Young has been ruled out for the game against the Celtics on Tuesday. He’s dealing with right Achilles tendinitis.

Bogdan Bogdanovic and Vit Krejci are both dealing with long-term injuries. Bogdanovic had a procedure to aid a hamstring issue and Krecji is dealing with a thigh ailment. Both are missing multiple weeks.

In addition, De’Andre Hunter and Seth Lundy have both been ruled out for the game against the Celtics, the former due to personal reasons and the latter due to an ankle issue.
