The Boston Celtics will wrap up a four-game road trip on Monday night with a game against the Atlanta Hawks. They dropped their first game of the journey to the Indiana Pacers before picking up two wins over the Charlotte Hornets. Should they bring home a win in Atlanta, they would move to 8-1 on the season.
Atlanta, on the other hand, has endured an up-and-down start to the year. A two-game hot streak to start the season was immediately followed by a four-game losing streak. They bounced back with a win over the injured New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, but that also means they will be on a back-to-back when they play Boston.
Here are the injury reports for the Celtics’ game against the Hawks on Monday, November 4.
Celtics injury report vs. Hawks on November 4
- Sam Hauser AVAILABLE (back)
- Jaylen Brown OUT (hip)
- Kristaps Porzingis OUT (foot)
Hawks injury report vs. Hawks on November 4
- Onyeka Okongwu QUESTIONABLE (toe)
- Cody Zeller QUESTIONABLE (personal)
- De’Andre Hunter OUT (knee)
- Kobe Bufkin OUT
- Bogdan Bogdanovic OUT (hamstring)
- Vit Krejci OUT (thigh)
Kristaps Porzingis is still out and will not return until around December after having offseason surgery.
Meanwhile, Jaylen Brown is set to miss his second straight game due to a left hip flexor strain. He’s going to have a second MRI on the issue in the coming days.
Sam Hauser, who has been dealing with back issues and has been day-to-day, will be available to play against Atlanta.
Onyeka Okongwu was downgraded from questionable to out on Sunday against the Pelicans, so his status for the Celtics game is up in the air. The same can be said for Cody Zeller, who didn’t play against New Orleans for personal reasons.
De’Andre Hunter was also out against the Pelicans due to a knee ailment, but there has been no update regarding his status against Boston. Kobe Bufkin’s status also has no update, but he was out against the Pelicans.
Bogdan Bogdanovic and Vit Krejci are definitely going to be out against Boston. The former underwent a non-surgical procedure on his hamstring and will be re-evaluated in four weeks, while the former will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
