In the last two months, several players who recently suited up for the Boston Celtics have taken their talents overseas. That includes a contributor to their most recent title team, one of their recent draft picks, and a former NBA and collegiate teammate of Payton Pritchard.

The latter is the most recent individual to sign internationally. The German club Bayern Munich announced that they are bringing Miles Norris on board.

The former Oregon Duck arrived in Boston during the 2024-25 campaign. He took a two-way roster spot from Anton Watson, a rookie who the team selected in the second round of the draft.

Norris appeared in 3 regular-season contests with the Celtics, averaging 2.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 11.7 minutes.

After suiting up for the Sin City C's at Summer League in 2025, following his departure from Boston, he signed with FC Barcelona. He'll now join one of the most prestigious clubs in Germany.

What other recent Celtics signed overseas?

In late June, Xavier Tillman Sr. left the NBA to join Trabzonspor Basketbol in Turkey. The veteran power forward, who's capable of bumping up to center, contributed to the Association's original monarchy's raising of Banner 18 to the TD Garden rafters.

He knocked down a corner triple that helped his team seize control of Game 3 of the 2024 NBA Finals. He also blocked Luka Doncic twice that night, as Boston gained a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Now, after finishing the 2025-26 campaign with the Charlotte Hornets, the 27-year-old will suit up for a Basketball Champions League club that has spent aggressively during this offseason. That includes signing former NBA guard Shaquille Harrison.

Even more recently, news arrived that Real Madrid is adding Max Shulga to their roster. That's sure to put a smile on the face of Hugo Gonzalez, who earned a validating message at Summer League.

Gonzalez and Shulga were a part of the same draft class. The Celtics selected the former Real Madrid standout late in the first round; a decision that is quickly looking like a home run. They used their final pick to draft Shulga, who will now bring his sharpshooting and bulldog-like approach on defense to Gonzalez's former club.

Speaking of former Celtics suiting up overseas, a former teammate of Tillman and Norris, Torrey Craig, most recently played for the Sydney Kings.

The veteran forward arrived in late January and quickly contributed to a team that finished atop the regular-season standings, then went on to win the NBL Grand Final.

So, while Craig missed out on winning a championship with the Celtics by a year, like those on Boston's 2023-24 title team, he has now experienced what it feels like to reach the mountaintop.
