The Boston Celtics aren’t dead yet, winning Game 4 against the Miami Heat to force a Game 5 in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The team that has been set as the underdog has won every game in this series, which could be a bad sign for Boston, who is favored by eight points in Game 5.

The Celtics finally had a strong shooting performance in Game 4, and they also held Jimmy Butler to just 9-for-21 shooting from the field. Kyle Lowry, Gabe Vincent, Duncan Robinson and Max Strus made just three shots from beyond the arc combined, a huge change from earlier in the series.

Miami still has control in this series, but the odds to win the series have shifted heavily in Boston’s favor after Game 4, going from +700 to +225.

Here’s how to bet on Game 5 in Boston:

Heat vs. Celtics prediction and pick

I may be going down with the ship, but I’m backing Boston to win this game and cover.

The Celtics have beaten the Heat by 11 or more points on six different occasions in their three Eastern Conference Finals meetings over the last four seasons, so I’m confident that the team can win in yet another blowout.

While Boston’s offense needs to resemble the group that showed up in Game 4 much more than Games 1-3, I do think it’s possible since Jaylen Brown has yet to shoot well from beyond the arc, or the field for that matter, in this series.

Miami’s role players all came back to earth in Game 4, and I wouldn’t be shocked if that happens again on the road in Game 5.

Boston is just 4-5 at TD Garden, but the team has showed resiliency there when facing a elimination (Game 7 against Philly in the second round).

Let’s bet on Boston and hope for a Game 6.
