No. 3: Serge Ibaka

If the Boston Celtics wish to go more defensive-minded with their depth at the big man position, Serge Ibaka would definitely be an option to consider.

Like Jae Crowder, Ibaka is hoping for a change of scenery due to the minimal role he has with the Milwaukee Bucks leaving a lot to be desired.

The 2019 NBA Champion has seen few appearances on the court this season. In 16 games, he is averaging 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds while shooting 48 percent from the field and 55.6% from beyond the arc.

Considering Ibaka is on a minimum contract of $1.8 million, trading Luke Kornet or Justin Jackson would be possible routes Boston could take if they don’t want to give up a lot for the 13-year veteran.

At age 33, Ibaka’s amazing defensive ability presents himself as a viable option for the Boston Celtics should they want to maintain a high level defense and stretch the floor when needed.
