Even with all the great moves that the Boston Celtics have already managed to execute this summer, such as the signing of Danilo Gallinari and the blockbuster trade for Malcolm Brogdon, all media pundits, and even some fans can seem to talk about when it comes to this franchise is what could be coming next.

Sometimes, it can be a luxury and a curse to be viewed as one of the most storied franchises in league history, for, when a big-name player finds themselves potentially on the move, more often than not the C’s are somehow intertwined with acquisition talks in one way or another.

We’ve seen this be the case for Boston on a myriad of occasions in the past–from the Kawhi Leonard negotiations of 2018 to the Anthony Davis sweepstakes of 2019, this organization always seems to be tabbed as a potential landing spot for any star that could possibly be on the go.

Current events only further strengthen this narrative.

Since superstar Kevin Durant shocked the sports world and requested a trade from the Nets, the Boston Celtics have been heavily linked to him as being a realistic destination.

Now, a positive spin on this matter for fans of the franchise is that, of all the teams that may find themselves in the running for the All-World talent, the Celtics are viewed by the masses as being the club that could easily wind up offering the most intriguing package Brooklyn’s way.

However, as we said earlier, sometimes this status of being a contender for top-flight players can also be viewed as a curse, for, in the event of a megadeal going down where KD heads to eastern Massachusetts, the assets seen heading outbound in the exchange is destined to be borderline historic, and, sadly, the headliner of this bunch would have to be All-Star wing, Jaylen Brown.

A fan favorite amongst the team’s faithful followers, JB has become one of the most integral parts of this ball club and served as arguably the best player on the floor at times during their recent NBA Finals run.

With the rumblings suggesting that the 25-year-old would have to be borough bound should the Celtics wish to strike a deal for Durant, a large portion of the fanbase has gone on to publicly voice their disinterest in seeing such a transaction go down.

Unfortunately, this hasn’t seemed to stop Brad Stevens and co. from pushing this agenda further, as, reportedly, they have just recently offered up their young stud in a proposal sent Brooklyn’s way, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

With this bit of news, it has sent fans into an absolute frenzy as they’ve gone right to their social media accounts to voice their strong opinions on the rumblings and, of those who took to their online platforms, Jaylen Brown himself seemingly sent out a reaction by sharing a three-letter tweet for the world to see.

Throughout his tenure thus far with the Boston Celtics, Jaylen Brown has done nothing to have one believe that he’s interested in jumping ship at any time in the future and has shown his interest in remaining in tow just a few years back when he rather quickly re-upped with the club on his recent contract extension.

To us at HH, shopping Brown is a non-starter when it comes to theoretical Kevin Durant trade talks and, frankly, this appeared to be the case amongst a large portion of C’s fans when we shared our thoughts on the matter on Twitter during the first wave of these asinine theories just a few weeks ago.

So far, no such move has been made. Moving forward, let’s hope this remains to be the case.

Keeping Jaylen Brown alongside Jayson Tatum and this Boston Celtics core should be priority No. 1 for the front office, as they appear to be teetering towards becoming a potential dynasty.
