Boston Celtics SG Derrick White

Derrick White isn’t overly concerned about how the Bucks and Celtics’ first game went in this series:

"“It’s one game and we’ve got a bunch of resilient guys in that locker room.”"

White had every reason to carry optimism over to the C’s follow-up contest on Tuesday night due to an efficient performance off the bench, especially relative to the output of his Boston teammates.

The mid-season trade deadline acquisition hit two of his three long-range attempts and finished with 10 points and four rebounds in Game 1.

Boston Celtics SF/PF Grant Williams

Grant Williams was another hot 3-point shooter this past Sunday, and due to the C’s stars laying in egg at the T.D. Garden, he was one of the most reliable players on the floor. This was despite a -15 box plus-minus in 29 minutes.

Williams could be used in jumbo lineups with Al Horford and Robert Williams, and would do well to be present with both at points to limit the damage Giannis Antetokounmpo could do at the rim. Grant Williams would be a good option for Ime Udoka to bump his minutes.
