The Boston Celtics haven’t had a three-game losing streak since 2021. Late December of a weird year on earth to be specific.

We’re now in April 2022, for those keeping score at home, and that aforementioned whole to-do isn’t a prank or gag. It’s a great fact of life…but it also speaks of a scary current state.

This isn’t the time to go on losing streaks, particularly with crucial seeding still to be determined in the Eastern Conference. Deep down, no one wants to face the Brooklyn Nets in the first round, but losing too much could result in losing a first-round matchup with home-court advantage. The Chicago Bulls, and even Toronto Raptors, could make things interesting if the Cs have checked out too soon.

Las Vegas sees the Cs as likely to get their act together during the season’s final Friday home game. But do the Pacers make things interesting instead?

Hardwood Houdini is here to dish out odds, let you know where to catch the action, and lays a prediction ahead of tonight’s matchup at 100 Legends Way:

Boston Celtics vs. Indiana Pacers odds, spread, over/under

According to WynnBet, the Celtics are 14.5-point favorites against the Pacers at home. Indiana is a +850 underdog on the road, with the Cs moneyline set at -1500. The over/under for the game has been placed at 226.5 points.

Celtics vs. Pacers prediction

What we did not get the last time these two teams played at home was a Cs cover, burning some of the Houdini’s funds in the process.

There won’t be a repeat Cs cover bettor against Indiana at home with Robert Williams’ injury causing a bit of an identity crisis right now.

But another low-scoring affair could be in the cards, at least relative to the over/under point total.

Pick: 226.5u (-110)
