Everyone may be angry at Marcus Smart for a play that resulted in an injury keeping Steph Curry out indefinitely, but the Boston Celtics quietly won their 23rd game in their last 30 since January 10th against the Golden State Warriors this past Wednesday.

Now, they look to roll into the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento to take on a Kings team that has won just one of their last six themselves.

Back to Wednesday for a second, though. After a one-possession loss to the Dallas Mavericks this past Monday, the Cs responded with as much force as humanly possible when they knocked the doors off a Dubs outfit that was reintegrating Draymond Green into the lineup. Though Andrew Wiggins was absent, the win was notable for the Cs as an underdog. Despite the plus odds, Boston avoided its first losing streak since January 21st.

What happens tonight as they take on a Kings team that has lost ground in the Western Conference postseason race on their home floor?

Celtics vs. Kings prediction

This is what I said the last two times these teams played:

“No way the Boston Celtics cover the spread two times in a row, right?”

Times have changed. Not to mention, I was very wrong considering the 53-point Smackdown laid on Sac-town.

The Boston Celtics will absolutely cover both legs of their northern California jaunt after waxing the Warriors on Wednesday.

Pick: Celtics -9 (-110)
