The Boston Celtics have climbed their way to being just two games back of the #2 seed in the Eastern Conference after a start to the season that had many people talking silly about splitting up the ‘Jays’.

A pair that made the conference finals in their first season together and made it two years later as the definitive franchise pillars had pundits calling for their divergence.

Ancient history at this point.

There have been win-streaks of nine games–from the end of January to mid-February–and five games this month.

Tonight, the Cs face an unfamiliar situation: a potential two-game losing steak. Not since January 19th-21st has Boston been on the wrong end of two consecutive scores.

Their opponent is a sleeping juggernaut that is whole for the first time all season. The Golden State Warriors have the dynastic trio of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green back together for the first time since Kevin Durant was playing alongside them.

Can the 3x champions climb back into the #2 seed with a win over the Celtics catapulting the Dubs past the Memphis Grizzlies in the standings out west? Or can Boston separate itself from the Philadelphia 76ers and Chicago Bulls at 41 games?

Hardwood Houdini takes a look at the odds and lays out a prediction for the Wednesday night matchup (live on ESPN at 10 P.M. EST) at the Chase Center:

Boston Celtics vs. Golden State Warriors odds, spread, over/under

According to WynnBet, the Celtics are a 3-point underdog against the Warriors on the road. Golden State is a favorite at home at -175, with the Cs moneyline set at +145. The over/under for the game has been placed at 220.5 points.

Celtics vs. Warriors prediction

Boston on its current run at plus money is the play, especially against a Warriors team still re-integrating Draymond Green.

Pick: Celtics ML (+145)
