Boston Celtics player No. 2) Payton Pritchard

Over his nearly two-year career with the Boston Celtics, Payton Pritchard has managed to turn himself into a fan favorite with his solid on-court production when given extended run on the hardwood.

Now, should both Aaron Nesmith and, more importantly, Jaylen Brown find themselves in street clothes for a prolonged period of time, the sophomore will need to continue his sound level of play, as one can only expect that he’ll be one of the main beneficiaries of these available minutes within the rotation.

Currently on the year, we see Pritchard struggling to find a substantial amount of playing time, as he’s seeing just 12.9 minutes a night, a stark contrast to his nearly 20-minute average during his rookie campaign.

However, when he’s received at least 18 minutes this season, the young point guard has proven that he can still put up similar, if not greater production to that which he did during year one.

When receiving 18+ minutes a night, the 24-year-old finds himself boasting solid per-game averages of 12.4 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.2 rebounds on 49 percent shooting from the floor and 43 percent shooting from deep.

While he may not be able to come close to replacing the defensive attributes that a guy like Brown would, his offensive prowess will absolutely come in handy should the star wing miss more games.
