Boston Celtics takeaway No.2) Jayson Tatum deserves to be All-NBA

Just recently, the folks at Bleacher Report predicted that Jayson Tatum will be selected to an All-NBA team. While it remains unclear if the budding superstar read the article, he sure played like he was an All-NBA selection on Thursday night.

The three-time All-Star finished with a team-high 37 points to go along with six rebounds and five assists. For Tatum, this was his second consecutive game with at least 33 points, at least six rebounds, and at least five assists.

To see the wing produce on an efficient 14-for-25 shooting from the floor is also a positive sign for C’s fans.

In addition to the stellar stat line, Tatum was a +17 on the night.

Bottom line, when Tatum is on the floor, good things happen for the guys in green. It’s not every outing that we see the former Blue Devil put forth one of his most efficient nights shooting from the floor, but he produces.

Game in and game out, Tatum will give you something special and, at this point, keep you in the game. Without Jaylen Brown, Tatum has elevated his game a bit the last two contests and helped the Boston Celtics pick up two huge wins.

If he continues this dominance which, in turn, helps to lead to a winning C’s team, there should be no issue in selecting Tatum to an All-NBA team.
