The Boston Celtics are always bound to be a good team with the likes of their All-Star wing duo, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, in tow.

Easily two of the best players at their respective positions, the Jays have played such a massive part in this team’s midseason turnaround and, as a result, Tatum wound up being selected to his third consecutive All-Star game while Brown came so close to notching his second but, instead, ended up becoming this year’s biggest snub.

As the campaign continues on, we expect this illustrious tandem to continue their high-end level of play which, in turn, is bound to lead to more impressive accomplishments such as a top-6 seed within the Eastern Conference standings and, hopefully, a deep postseason push.

The folks at Bleacher Report are also under the impression that more accolades are just on the horizon for the Boston Celtics, as they have recently predicted that, come year’s end, Jayson Tatum will find himself being selected to his second All-NBA team.

Citing his impact on the team’s overall surge since the New Year, where they’ve gone from a sub-.500 ball club to the sixth-seed in the east with a record of 37-27, coupled with his overall improvements in different aspects of his game, writer, Zach Buckley, believes that the fifth-year pro has easily done enough to warrant a spot on the All-NBA second-team this season:

"The Celtics’ climb up the standings (12-2 over their last 14 games) mercifully paused the existential questioning of the Tatum-Jaylen Brown dynamic and freed up the Boston spotlight to marvel at how stinkin’ good Tatum (and this defense) really is.He’ll always be an electric scorer at heart, but he is proving to be an increasingly willing passer (career-high 20.5 assist percentage) and perpetually rising rebounder (personal-best 8.3 a night). Tack on enviable versatility on the defensive end, and you’re looking at one of the top two-way talents in the game. To that end, his 9.7 RAPTOR WAR lands behind only those of Jokic and Curry."

Through 60 games played this year, Jayson Tatum has proven to be an absolute monster on both ends of the ball, boasting averages of 25.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists, one steal, and just shy of a block per game.

Still only 23-years-old, the wing is developing into, not just one of the best players under the age of 25 but, rather, one of the best players in the entire league period.
