Boston Celtics star trade target No. 2) Domantas Sabonis

The most popular star target of late to be linked to the Boston Celtics, Domantas Sabonis would be a highly intriguing option for this team for a multitude of reasons.

First and foremost, he would give the shamrocks a tremendous talent at a position that has been in need of bolstering over the last several seasons.

Easily a top-3 power forward in the association, Sabonis would provide elite offensive production alongside the Jays, serving as an interior threat while Tatum and Brown can do their thing by patrolling the perimeter and driving the lane when there’s an opening (likely would be an uptick in pick setting, for the star ranks fifth in the NBA in screen assists).

Currently in the midst of yet another phenomenal campaign, Sabonis is posting per-game averages of 18 points, 11.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.1 steals on 57 percent shooting from the floor.

Like we always close with, being that he’s just 25-years-old a deal for the 2x All-Star would not only help out in the immediate future but for the years to come as well, for he’s under contract through 2024 and, at that point, will still be on the right side of 30.
