The Houdini couldn’t have been more wrong throwing down on the Boston Celtics moneyline against the Brooklyn Nets this past Wednesday.

While it was a night of upsets around the league, with the New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, and even the one-win Houston Rockets all picking up wins, the slight underdog Celtics looked like they were a #16 in the NCAA tournament going up against a regional powerhouse-adjacent Nets.

Could the Cs move past that throttling and take down a 4-13 San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center in the Alamo City?

Hardwood Houdini is here to dish out some odds, TV channel info, and a prediction for some Monday NBA action:

Boston Celtics vs. San Antonio Spurs odds, spread, over/under

According to WynnBet, the Celtics are a 3-point favorite against the Spurs on the road. San Antonio is a +130 home underdog, with the Cs moneyline set at -150. The over/under for the game has been placed at 214.5 points.

Both teams are coming into this one having lost their most recent contest, but the Spurs’ losing streak currently sits at six, while Boston’s loss to Brooklyn on Wednesday broke up a three-game winning streak.

Celtics vs. Nets TV channel

This game won’t be on national television, but Boston Celtics fans can catch this one on NBC Sports Boston in market.

Celtics vs. Spurs prediction

Jaylen Brown isn’t yet confirmed to play tonight, but Robert Williams is a definite scratch along with Josh Richardson.

Without all three, the Cs will have to rely heavily on Jayson Tatum and, to a lesser degree, Marcus Smart, Dennis Schroder, Al Horford and even Grant Williams. That group didn’t excel against the Atlanta Hawks, but handled their business against both the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City in back-to-back nights.

Boston is the lean here with Ime Udoka having these guys coming out firing to erase the stench of Wednesday night’s stinker.

Pick: Celtics -3 (-110)

Next. Boston could add this speedy PG as their third star. dark
