With Thanksgiving upon us, it’s time for Boston Celtics fans to start thinking about what they are thankful for.

No matter how you view the holiday, there are plenty of current members of the Boston Celtics organization and people associated with the organization that the fans should be thankful for, but there are a select few that stand out.

Here are a few names that C’s fans should be keeping in mind when giving thanks this year:

Boston Celtics to be thankful for No. 1 & 2) The Jays

It’s crazy to think that two of the team’s best players over the past few years are still only 23 and 25, respectively, but here we are.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have accomplished so much in a short amount of time as a dynamic duo, already having plenty of playoff wins and Eastern Conference Finals appearances under their belts.

It may be easy to think about how the team could’ve gone even farther during certain seasons, but the fans should be appreciative and thankful for the great years these two have given the team, and be thankful that they should be around leading the team for many more years to come.

Both have already signed extensions to stick around beyond their rookie contracts, so the sky is the limit for the C’s as long as these two can keep improving year after year, as they consistently have since being drafted.

I’d also like to quickly say I’m thankful for Billy King, who was so generous in granting both of the draft rights that they used to pick Tatum and Brown, so without him, a quick turnaround in the post Big-3 era wouldn’t have been possible.
