Boston Celtics: 1 stud and 1 dud from C’s blowout loss to Toronto

Boston Celtics stud: Al Horford
After missing his regular-season return to the Boston Celtics in game one against the Knicks due to COVID-19, Al Horford made his debut Friday night in a starting fashion, slotting into the frontcourt at the power forward position alongside center, Robert Williams.
Despite having appeared uncomfortable playing the four during his time with the Philadelphia 76ers two years back, the veteran proved to be a rather productive force this time around with the Cs, impacting the game in numerous areas.
In his first action since late March of last season, the 15th-year veteran managed to finish the night with a double-double, logging 11 points and 11 rebounds to go along with two assists and four blocks.
Conditioning was certainly a question heading into the night, and it appeared these days off may have wound up having somewhat of an impact on his scoring production, shooting at a clip of just 41 percent from the field while missing all three of his attempts from deep.
That said, though his stamina may have been a bit rusty (which was somewhat expected) his shooting stroke and scoring mentality was not, as he displayed that impressive footwork and trusty jumper that had fans fall in love with him during his first stint with the franchise.
Above all else, however, it was good to see him back in green.
