Boston Celtics TPE target No. 3) Joe Ingles

While Kyle Anderson may be seen as the most realistic target of today’s bunch, Joe Ingles would certainly be one of the biggest names that the Boston Celtics could theoretically snag with their Evan Fournier exception.

Like the other two aforementioned players, the forward is coming off of perhaps his best season in the NBA, as he posted stupendous averages of 12.1 points, 4.7 assists, and 3.6 rebounds on 49 percent shooting from the floor and a whopping 45 percent shooting from deep.

Though there’s a strong argument to be made that a super effective dime-dropping point guard would be the best compliment for the C’s All-Stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, bringing on a highly efficient shooter who can create for himself while also being able to consistently knock down catch-and-shoot attempts is truly a close second in regard to ideal accompaniments.

Suggested as a potential trade target for Boston a few months back by our very own Chris Conte, the thought of Ingles joining this Celtics core would almost certainly wind up being a positive both on the hardwood as well as within the box score and, being that Utah is currently tapped into the luxury tax, moving the combo forward could be in consideration should the Jazz wish to attain some tax relief.

A tremendous offensive weapon both in the scoring department as well as in the facilitation game and a career net positive on the less glamorous defensive side of the ball, Joe Ingles should be heavily pursued by the Boston Celtics should he ever wind up being placed on the trade block.

Already proving that he can excel whilst running alongside ball-dominant stars (Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley), the Australian-born baller would be an absolute gem of a compliment for the likes of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
