Boston Celtics target. No. 1) Justise Winslow

Despite being only 25-years-old, Justise Winslow might only receive a minimum contract this offseason. He has dealt with various injuries all throughout his career.

Winslow was traded from the Miami Heat to the Memphis Grizzlies for Andre Iguodala during the 2019-20 season. He only played 11 games that season, all for the Heat, and 26 this past year.

Though he has struggled to stay on the court up until this point, he has still shown great promise as an NBA player. His versatility and playmaking make him an ideal rotation player.

At 6-6, Winslow has played the one, two, three, and four throughout his career. In Miami, he showed a ton of potential as a point forward.

Last season he averaged 6.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 26 games for Memphis. However, he was showing vast improvements when he played in Miami.

In his last full season, he played 66 games with Miami in 2018-19. He averaged 12.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists while shooting 43.3 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from deep.

Winslow has a team option worth $13 million for next season. The Grizzlies could choose to pick it up, but with their current young core, they may choose to have more financial flexibility by declining it.

If that’s the case, Winslow could be on the market for cheap. If the Boston Celtics can sign him for a sub-$3 million deal, it would be worth taking the risk.
