We all knew the front office for the Boston Celtics was going to look to be a busy bunch during the 2021 NBA Offseason, but we weren’t quite aware of just how fast the franchise would step into action.

Less than 24-hours after their Game 5 season-ending loss to the Brooklyn Nets in round one of the playoffs, it was announced that Danny Ainge would be stepping down from his duties with the organization and, in his place, Brad Stevens would drop the clipboard on the sidelines and move on up to fill the vacated role of President of Basketball Operations.

That day, the search simultaneously began in an effort to find a replacement at head coach for the franchise, and many names found themselves making their list of potential candidates to take on the position.

Though the news circuit ran a bit quiet during the weeks since this bomb, Friday another explosion went off, as it was announced that Kemba Walker would be traded to the OKC Thunder in exchange for Moses Brown and Al Horford.

Of course, this exchange sent shockwaves throughout the media, with many discussing the advantages and disadvantages each team could wind up having from the trade.

Perhaps the biggest storyline in this deal is that Horford finds himself coming back to the Boston Celtics, where some of the best days of his career were spent.
