Potential Kemba Walker landing spot No. 2) Los Angeles Clippers

Connections between the Boston Celtics point guard and the Los Angeles Clippers have been well covered over the past several months now and, frankly, the more time that passes by, the more such a transaction makes sense.

In fact, outside of fans and simple media analysts, there apparently are some scouts who would also like to see such a move take place for La La Land.

Despite the team’s third-seeded record at 44-22, it’s quite evident that they still find themselves in possession of some holes within the rotation, especially at their point guard position where, at the moment, is being occupied by Reggie Jackson and a nearly retired Rajon Rondo.

Should the “championship or bust” Clippers have yet another postseason meltdown this year, during the offseason the team’s front office will have to try to pull off some savvy maneuvers to try and bolster the roster in an effort to keep their prized jewels Kawhi Leonard and Paul George happy, which certainly should prove to be a challenge due to the team’s lacking salary flexibility.

Desperate times certainly call for desperate measures and, should this win-now squad fall short of a chip once more, Los Angeles could easily find themselves being convinced to take a shot on the four-time All-Star recapturing his pre-injury form and, in turn, serve as the team’s starting one as well as a potentially lethal tertiary scoring option to thrive in isolation sets and, simply, to ease up the defensive intensity that comes to the likes of Leonard and George.
