Bargain player No. 4) Jayson Tatum — $9.8 million

Last, but certainly not least (obviously) we see the likes of Jayson Tatum.

After having a career year in 2019-20, where he saw averages of 23.4 points, seven rebounds, three assists, 1.4 steals, and just shy of a block per game on 45 percent shooting from the floor and 40 percent shooting from the field, the 22-year-old comes into 2020-21 listed as the 11th best player in the NBA, according to ESPN’s latest power rankings.

The franchise player on one of the most storied organizations in NBA history, Tatum also finds himself ranked second to only Luka Doncic on Complex Sports’ latest article entitled The 24 Best NBA Players 24 and Under.

"We all thought Tatum would be pretty good coming out of Duke when the Celtics made him the third pick in the 2017 NBA Draft because Danny Ainge usually knows what he’s doing up in Boston. But if you saw Tatum elevating his game to All-NBA status in three short seasons you need to play the lottery because Tatum really burst onto the scene last season… …Tatum isn’t going to be a problem for the next decade-plus—he’s going to be a god damn nightmare."

All-Star; All-NBA; top-15 scorer in 2019-20; still on his rookie deal until 2021-22.

All things considered, it doesn’t get much better than that, folks.
