Win-now target for Boston Celtics No. 1) Myles Turner

Myles Turner is a player we at the Houdini have advocated Danny Ainge to look into acquiring many times throughout the past several months. That said, we are not the only publication to believe the 24-year-old would be an ideal fit within this shamrocks’ rotation.

Just ask Bleacher Report writer Grant Hughes, who saw a deal for Turner as the best trade the Cs could make this offseason:

"If the current Boston Celtics roster has a weakness, it’s the lack of a floor-stretching center with the ability to defend the rim and survive on switches. There’s a good reason for that: Almost no team has a player who can do all those things. Myles Turner is one of them, and if the Pacers decide to split up him and Domantas Sabonis, the Celtics should come ready with a hefty offer."

On the season, Turner posted impressive averages of 12.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and a whopping 2.1 blocks per game on 46 percent shooting from the floor and 34 percent shooting from deep.

Whether it be the center coming to Boston in exchange for Daniel Theis & other assets or him coming to town to join the German-big down low, there’s no mistaking that adding Turner to the roster would absolutely help improve the weakest area within the team’s rotation.
