Based off of the rumblings pouring out from all over the NBA world, here are the three most likely Boston Celtics trade targets to be wearing green and white.

The Boston Celtics are a team that is being mentioned moreso than most when it comes to NBA trade deadline rumors. Justifiably so, as the C’s have the most diverse set of assets for teams looking for a rebuild–and even teams looking to contend right away.

By virtue of their 34-15 record, the Celtics are very much buyers at this year’s deadline. They have been linked to names like Andre Drummond and Kevin Love in recent months, but that would require the team parting ways with a large contract like Kemba Walker (a non-starter in any trade talks), Jaylen Brown (unlikely to be dealt before his extension kicks in) or Gordon Hayward (unlikely to be dealt despite his potential free agency).

None of those players appear to be going anywhere, making those max contract stars unlikely to be acquired in a trade. ESPN’s Brian Windhorst essentially guaranteed that Hayward, the most likely of the three, would be staying put:
