Boston Celtics schedule analysis and other takeaways for 2019-20

March
Playoff teams = 8
Non-playoff teams = 7
Total games = 15
It’s difficult to gauge the pulse of March.
There isn’t an overwhelming amount of good or bad teams, the back to backs aren’t that difficult, although three is the highest count in any month this year.
The first B2B is at home vs Brooklyn then on the road against Cleveland. Then, in the middle of the month the team is at Milwaukee with a home game the next day vs Washington, and finally the last B2B of the month is two road games against Toronto and Brooklyn.
The last back-to-back is part of a four game road trip vs Toronto, Brooklyn, Washington, and Memphis. This could be the start of a big win streak the spills over into April and goes through the rest of the season.
Toronto is hard to gauge because there is a chance they pull the plug mid-season and auction off players like Kyle Lowry, Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol. That would drop them severely in overall talent level and could give the Celtics a chance to win all four of these games.
The team then starts an enormous six game home stand that leaks into April.
