Marcus Morris is missing another game with his ankle injury
The Boston Celtics continue to deal with uncertain injuries, as Marcus Morris is once again sidelined with his ankle injury. He has been in and out of the lineup, and with the playoff so close, it might be time to worry whether or not he will be 100 percent in time.
The Utah Jazz are also not the team the Celtics want to face without Morris right now. He has been their most prolific scorer, and has bailed them out on multiple occasions.
No one has stepped up during these injuries as much as Morris, and he would have been even moreimportant against one of the best defenses in the league.

When you add on that Al Horford is now questionable, and this could get ugly for the Celtics. They have Rudy Gobert to think about, and there might not be much hope if you take out their top best front court players.
Both of them are bothered by ankles right now, and the Celtics really cannot think too much about these remaining games. You know Morris wants to be out there, but he needs to be fully available come playoff time, and it is even more important with Horford.
These ankle injuries always appear to linger, so who knows when either of them will be at 100 percent. We know it is nothing too serious that will require any kind of surgery, taking them out for an extended period of time.
The problem is the Celtics cannot afford to have Morris even hobbled in the playoffs. They desperately need him to keep winning now, but not if that is at the cost of making sure his ankle will be as healthy as possible come playoff time.
The Celtics are used to hearing the injury news now, and it opens the door for fans to really enjoy what young studs Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Terry Rozier can do.

The problem is how ugly the bottom of the bench is going to be, and it is hard to imagine what they could do with their minutes if Horford joins Morris on the sidelines for this one.
