Boston;s young talent should be able to dominate against the Suns

The Boston Celtics are going up against the Phoenix Suns as they continue to look to overcome these injuries. The Suns are far from an intimidating team, but they will make sure that the Celtics have some good competition with the young talent involved.

The Celtics are obviously in a much better situation right now, but the Suns are accumulating the kind of young talent that will allow them to be relevant once again soon. With all the injuries suffered, it is going to be young talent that needs to take over on both ends.

The Celtics just saw Terry Rozier have a career night, and the next two options beside him will be the two youngest players in Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. The three of them are going to be primary instigators on both ends for the Celtics.

The good news for Boston is that Brad Stevens will be putting these players in a phenomenal position to succeed, and their depth will still be an advantage against the Suns. The Celtics have been playing better basketball all season long, and this will be a great opportunity for these young guys to really break out and take over the game.

More from Hardwood Houdini

The status of Marcus Morris is still unknown, but the Celtics should only need him in this one. That young talented backed up by  the likes of Greg Monroe and Aron Baynes could lead to an easy victory. When you take into account that the best of the Suns young talent, Devin Booker, might not be playing, these young Celtics stars could have the most overall dominant game of this season.

Of course, there is still that risk that guys like Josh Jackson and Dragan Bender want to prove that their young talent is not so far off from Boston’s. They would need a special performance, and the Celtics would really have to come back to earth, but this road trip has been weird enough that you cannot rule it out.

The Celtics have made it abundantly clear that they are not going to fold because of these injuries, and they are ready to see how far this young talent can carry them. The Suns are a team that they need to be able to beat no matter what the situation is, and the young talent may not have a better opportunity to showcase how much damage they can do.

The Celtics have been seeing different players step up on a nightly basis, and you should be able to expect the trio of Rozier, Brown and Tatum to have one of their most complete and dominant games as a trio.

Most people expected the Celtics to have to wait a much longer time before seeing how this young talent could do leading the team, but everyone is looking at their injury troubles as an opportunity. It will be interesting to see how long they keep it up, but everyone should be able to see how much these young players can dominant a roster like the Suns.
