Boston Celtics get the news they have been waiting for with Jaylen Brown’s concussion

The Boston Celtics are in desperate need of good news on the injury front, and just seeing Jaylen Brown as probable is enough right now. Even if Brown is held out of their game against the Sacramento Kings for added precautionary measures, this still means he is out of the concussion protocol and they might just want to bring him back against a more difficult opponent.

The Celtics have pushed their depth beyond the absolute limit, and somehow they have come out on top. The Celtics got two of their most impressive victories against the Thunder and the Blazers, and now Brown could transform what this team is able to do once he returns.

How everything is split up on offense will be interesting to watch, but Brown will immediately be the primary option any time he is on the court, and he needs to be the best individual defender on the court.

More from Hardwood Houdini

That being said, he is going to have to transition into a team that now has Marcus Morris and Jayson Tatum as their primary options, but the most that should do is take a couple more games to really get comfortable.

Brown can have a true two way impact that changes what this team is capable of doing, and adding him to this roster with so many players excelling could allow them to gain a lot of momentum going to the playoffs.

Brown will obviously change how easy it is for the Celtics to win games, but his personal progress will be more important. The Celtics could get both Marcus Smart and Kyrie Irving back in the playoffs, but they could be joining two young players in Tatum and Brown that have transformed their game.

Nobody wants to see these top players go down, but it is the only way Brown and Tatum would get the opportunity to be a number one option, and that could help them improve their impact once everyone is back in the playoffs.

Brown may need some time to get back to 100 percent, but you know he cannot wait to get back on the court with an opportunity to lead this team and start a great playoff run.
