The real excitement about the Boston Celtics is their rising stars

The Boston Celtics are one of the better represented teams this All Star weekend, with two players in the All Star game and another two in the rising stars game. While Kyrie Irving and Al Horford are going to be the main attraction, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are the ones to get the most excited about.

When you think about this Celtics team, they are already in one of the best positions in the NBA, and Horford and Irving are the biggest reason why. They are two of the best talents in the NBA, and they are the reason the Celtics are fighting for the top seed in the East.

They are the reason the Celtics are fun to watch right now, and they are going to be two of the most important players on this team as long as they are here. That being said, there is a different kind of excitement when you look at Brown and Tatum, and their ability to reach their potential is how the Celtics can become true title contenders.

One of the best parts of two of them is we really do not even know how high their potential can go and watching them grow and develop is the most important thing for this team right now. When you see the two of them active on All Star weekend, you are just getting a taste of how dominant they can make this team.

They both look like they could quickly become perennial All Stars, but that still does not adequately capture how good the two of them can be. Both of them have shown the potential to do anything you need on the court, with no real limitations that cannot be fixed.

The growth Brown has already shown on offense is incredible. He is already masterful as using his athleticism to defend anyone he needs. Brown looks like he can become the best two way player on this team, that can dominate on both ends. He certainly does not have the otherworldly skill of Irving, but the overall impact he has the potential for can truly transform this team.

Brown is one of the most improved players in the league in his second year, and it still feels like he is going to improve every facet of his game. The Celtics know they have something special in Brown, and he has all the signs of being a true franchise player.

The best part of this young duo is that as exciting as Brown is, Tatum looks like he has the highest fielding on this team. In fact, we still cannot even tell what Tatum’s ceiling might be. He has shown signs of being one of the most complete offensive players in the entire NBA, and is already a positive defender despite being 19 years old.

Tatum does all the things that rookies are not supposed to be able to do and he still has years to grow. Tatum is already one of the best players on a team that is trusted in the most important situations. We really do not know how good he is going to become, but watching him develop is going to be the most exciting part of his franchise for years  now.
